The Asteroid Hauler was taking a pounding and turned a turbo laser on the Turtle... the shot goes wide but the terrifying power of the weapon completely destroyed the new cannon installed by Hacha. The large craft engaged maneuvers to push itself further away.

Jearo steadied himself as his crew scrambled and the klaxons blared. He commanded, “Shut those off, number one back at your post, the rest of you return to your stations. We may not win this fight, but we will make them pay for the damage done to House Varad.”

“Get me a targeting solution, eliminate that freighter.”

The fighter hearing his captain take charge once again nodded and returned fire on the Republic lining up a deadly shot on Chase’s Spitfire.

Jearo was pleased as he stepped over the corpse of a deck officer. He frowned and said, “Clean up Jenkins, this is still a ship of battle. Remember your Honor, Mando’ade. Now get me a firing solution!”

He sat back down in his chair, “I want these carrion feeders dispersed.”

[Chase]

Chase saw the fire coming, it was too late to dodge... all of it, but she barreled over and kept on flying straight past him. Only accelerating as she did. Still, she left a parting message none the less.

"Attention Tin-Can Kriff-holes. You've lost, you're cowards, and I hope you've enjoyed your dosage of thrashing from the republic today. This is Chase," Chase put her hand firmly on the thrust. "Signing off."

Chase's craft dotted off toward safety.

Oddyn unglued from gun controls, hazed slightly by sudden electrocution when the cannon had been shot dead. "Eh, me and her had good chemistry." He looked blankly at the beeping red on the status screen.
