The room was still besides the cooling corpses of the three Mandalorian soldiers killed by lightsaber. A single man stood at the bar taking a drink as locals peaked in at the carnage. They were glad to see the offworld invaders die but the violence was overwhelming but at least there was a Jedi out there doing something for them.

He tipped his glass to the locals with a smile.

[Zhao Xhur]

A big figure wearing a robe and fully armoured entered the cantina. The albino zabrak moved around without minding one bit about the three mandalorian corpses that were lying around, or really anyone in the nearby. His intimidating movements sent a clear message to anyone who want to pick a fight.

He just approached the bar and asked for a drink. He sat next to the young man that apparently killed the mandalorians and put his hood away revealing his zabrak horns, his scarred and tattooed face and his braided hair. He didn't said a word as he waited for his drink...

The mystery Jedi smirked and finished his cup and then said, “Worth the trip to be honest.”

“Tastes awful but has a righteous kick to it. This is what you drink when you have nothing to lose.”

[Zhao Xhur]

'' Hmm, i see...'' Zhao said, maybe to the man, maybe to no one in particular. As the bartender, or whoever who was in charge of the bar, brought him his drink, the zabrak drank it all in just one shot. It really tasted awfully, but the man was right, it gave him the right type of kick.

'' Not bad...'' He replied as he shaked a bit from the alcoholic kick. '' I suppose these mandalorians were giving you trouble? '' this time he asked the young man but without looking at him directly. Xhur asked for another drink.

[Dapper Dog]

The bartender is a large zabrak, with muscular build and a round powerful stomach. He nods at Zhao with approval and said, “On the house.”


“Would you believe they accidently ran into my lightsaber multiple times?” the man replied coyly.

[Zhao Xhur]

Zhao raised his glass as the bartender gave him the drink for free. Then he burst into a deep rough laughter with the young man's comment. '' Haha! Good one...'' He said and then drank his second glass in just one shot, again.

'' Well, the odds are in your favour i guess.'' He shrugged '' These bloody mandalorians love a good fight, sometimes they love it a bit 'too' much for their own good...'' He turned around to observe the three mandos lying on the ground. '' Zhao Xhur is my name.'' He presented himself.

[Dapper Dog]

“Darius, most just call me Dee, sometimes sweet Dee, but mostly Dee. Wasn’t sure if there would be other Jedi coming to this rock, the locals sure as hell need it,” he said warmly.

“Glad to see the Council got their heads out of their collective arse and sent some real help.”

[Zhao Xhur]

'' Yeah...'' he sights '' i do respect the collective wisdom of the council but they sometimes get too much political crap and bullshit instead of actually helping the people.'' He said. The white zabrak approached to where the bodies of the mandos lay. '' I guess these fellas should be moved, less their friends come here and start asking questions to the locals.'' He commented.

'' How long have you been here, Darius?'' He asked.

“I was on a pilgrimage, going where the winds take me, arrived on planet maybe two weeks ago, didn’t try to make waves and kept me head down. Had a good run until the republic shows up out of the blue and then I was like well time to shine,” he said with a shrug.

“So… you are here to kick these wanna-be warriors off this rock right?”

[Zhao Xhur]

'' I'm just here because this is where i can make most good...'' Zhao said. '' I'm not the type that sits behind a desk and watches the holonet how things go to hell and pretend that nothing is happening. '' He adds.

'' I don't give a shit if they are mandalorians or sith or hutt or whatever. When i see something that is wrong i act. That doesn't make me the most 'popular' among the jedi order but they knew what i was when they took me into their order.'' He said while observing the mandos' wounds from Darius lightsaber. He must be quite skilled, he thought as mandalorians are not easy to kill specialy since they are usually trained to counter jedi.

[Dapper Dog]

“Well I am pleased to hear that, not sure what to do with the bodies…” he said standing and looking at the corpses.

[Zhao Xhur]

'' They had to be disposed, otherwise their friends will, sooner or later, miss their buddies and come asking questions.'' He replied to Darius.

'' Hey, brother...'' He turned and spoke to the bartender. '' I guess these idiots have been causing trouble to you and your people. If their buddies find that this guy killed them here they will return and cause you more trouble. Do you know any place where we could dispose the bodies? make them appear like just another casualty of battle?''

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne wasn't on this rock for the war effort, but conflict still found its way to her as she tried to find the local watering hole. A stray enemy resulting in a scuffle, and some minor injuries. Nothing she couldn't handle, and the guy that caused them wasn't walking away from the fight; even with her restricting herself to her blue shoto. Never pick a fight with someone carrying a lightsaber, she thought to herself...

...a thought amplified when she strolled into the cantina, just in time to see two Jedi standing over a few more mando corpses.

"Let me guess, they wanted to skip out on their tab?"

Layne, it might occur to some, kind of still had some of the trappings of a sith. Her armored robes, ancient in design, were certainly a darker shade than common in the order; and she didn't really seem to be impressed with the deaths on display. She carried two lightsabers, a shoto, and one a curved hilt of odd design.

'' They had to be disposed, otherwise their friends will, sooner or later, miss their buddies and come asking questions.'' He replied to Darius.

'' Hey, brother...'' He turned and spoke to the bartender. '' I guess these idiots have been causing trouble to you and your people. The bartender said, "We can put em in a hole somewhere, as far as I am concerned they were never here."

Darius chuckled at the plucky woman and said, “Yeah let’s say they did that, that sounds even more amusing.”

[Zhao Xhur]

Zhao crossed his arms and nodded to the bartender. When the young woman appeared and made her comment he felt something about this girl, maybe he knew her from somewhere, that kind of feeling he felt. The white zabrak tried to recognize her but he couldn't remember. Of course, he noticed her lightsabers, so maybe he knew her from the order, Zhao was not sure.

'' Maybe'' He replied to the young woman '' or maybe they just accidentally fell into some lightsaber...'' he shrugged.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Layne Hoshin," she said, months ago having overcome the fear of exposing to certain people the fact she still lived by having the name be overheard by the wrong ears. "I came looking for the help of some locals, but it seems I underestimated the strategic value this place has for the mando's."

[Zhao Xhur]

'' Zhao Xhur and this is Darius '' he presented himself and the young man to Layne. '' Have we met before? i feel like i know you from somewhere...'' he asked intrigued. Her name also sounded familiar but that was not enough information to make him remember.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Maybe," she said, casually shrugging. "I've been around, and I have a reputation."

[Dapper Dog]

“Oh a reputation huh, well… that’s great, I have a reputation too… and probably him… and everyone else. Does it matter on this rock in a middle of a war, not really. But if that matters to you, then have at it, padawan,” Darius said with a chuckle.

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne rolled her eyes at what seemed somewhat like familiar behavior.

"It matters when someone's trying to figure out where they might know me from, that's all."

She looked at the bodies, presumably being taken care of by the local staff, before turning to the two men again. "So did you two come here for information too? Or were you just looking for a fight? If it's drinks, I'm pretty sure there's some back at base."

[Dapper Dog]

"Just helping people, the drinks were a bonus," he said.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Well, whatever works."

She shrugged, and turned to the bartender when the opportunity presented itself.

"Hey, can I ask you something? If I wanted to know a bit more about the lay of the land here than old maps can give me, anyone around you think who could help me?"

[Dapper Dog]

The large zabrak grinned, revealing sharpened teeth and said, "Ask away, master Jedi."
