[Delmi Koor]

Delmi walked onto the western edge of the flight deck and took a good look at the bustling workers flitting about. They would arrive at their destination soon, and all needed to be ready.

Delmi found a crate to sit on and began practicing her pistol draws with the safety on towards the wall to let out the last bit of tension in her before the mess that was sure to come...

[Nekoinu]

"You must be Delmi Koor! Excuse me, I used to live on Nar Shaddaa. You have quite the reputation." The lady, in her gaudy attire, rocked back and forth on her feet. "Cyan Nexu, by the way. Codename, of course. Well, maybe you heard of me too from back there. I was a pretty big deal as a slicer." She let out a nervous chuckle. "Republic signed you on then?"

[Delmi Koor]

She looked at the woman and tilted her head, "Can't say I have... but that doesn't mean you aren't the real deal. Just means no one wanted you dead enough to have drawn my attention. Or you were good enough to delete any such request. Probably means you were doing something right."

She smirked casually, "I'm on for the ride for a bit, yeah... Got a friend back on Bankor I need to thank and I owe the guy in charge a favor. Figured helping out would be the way to do pay it back."

She raised her head up a bit gesturing towards Cyan, "What about you? Working for the Republic now? Maybe you always have been?"

[Nekoinu]

"Heh, yeah, I tried not to get myself into too much trouble." She patted her legs. "I suppose I'm not supposed to talk about that sort of stuff though. Kind of a professional courtesy to employers or whatever, even if I'm not there anymore."

The slicer tilted her head. "So not officially on with the Republic, huh? That's cool. I am, by the way, but that's cause the gig seemed nice." Her expression shifted from a smile to one of slight shock. "It's been over a year and it still feels like yesterday that I got signed on."

[Delmi Koor]

"Doin' intelligence I assume?" Delmi asked.

[Nekoinu]

"Not really supposed to go around advertising that, right? But yeah, that's my department." She shot a fake finger gun into the distance. "I'm not the type to be out of the field base."

[Delmi Koor]

"Always nice to have a good gal in the chair backin' ya up." Delmi said with a nod.

[Nekoinu]

"Less chairs than you'd expect, actually. Back in the office, I have to run around a lot to keep track of everything." The slicer then gave a sheepish smile. "But I understand the point."

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded and smiled, "I'm sure you'll have lots of runnin' to do here on Bankor then... since we're so mobile and temporary. I'm not a huge fan of spy work, but if you need someone shot up and it helps the guy in charge then feel free to hit me up."

[Nekoinu]

"I'll keep that in mind," she said with a quiver in her voice. She gave an awkward smile and then looked around. "I'm not the one who does recruitment on that angle anyways. Wouldn't be good either if I had some sort of side job, you know? That's how you get charged for corruption."

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi nodded softly at the last comment, "That's part of the problem with your new employer to be honest... You can give them your whole life and put so much into 'the cause'... but then someone can charge you with something false... and poof! Gotta be careful with that stuff, can screw up your life pretty bad in a hurry."

She leaned back on a crate with her hands after holstering her pistol, "Don't get into trouble on my account. I'm just here to help in whatever way I can. And I got a set of skills that makes me dangerous to dangerous people."

[Nekoinu]

"Well, at least the Republic doesn't react to things like crime lords. Some of the videos you find in the deep net..." She shuddered. "Their way of trying to keep everyone in line."

The slicer smiled. "Yup! Must be thrilling," she remarked, with admiration in her voice. She then gave a sheepish smile. "I never was one for bodies though."

[Delmi Koor]

"Bodies? Like... makin' people into dead bodies?" She asked.

[Nekoinu]

"Yeah, like the dead sort. Even if they went peacefully and all that. It's just kind of... weird."

[Delmi Koor]

She tilted her head, "I guess. Not much different between a living and dead one... except the movement thing. If a dead one started moving... then I'd be creeped out."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh, you do not want to dig into some stuff people are thinking of doing. Oh man, oh man, bad stuff." She shook her head. "And it is not all movies. But I guess we ought to be glad that that isn't how Mandalorians operate. The worst they'll do is make a public display of your decapitation." She then lowered her head. "That's still pretty bad."

[Delmi Koor]

She chuckled, "Already lost one body part to those thugs... not looking to let them take another."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh, is that what happened?" The slicer gave a slight bow of her head. "Sorry to hear that, Miss Delmi Koor. Uh, Miss Koor? Delmi?"

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded, "Delmi's fine, I can't imagine we're all that different in age and I don't have any position in life that you'd have to pay respect to."

She then turned back to the question at hand, "But yeah... was on the planet when the Mandalorians attacked. Lost my ship, lost my arm... A lady down there helped me get compensated and Commander Malcolm set me up with a new arm. Figured I'd pay the both of them back and the Mando's at the same time if I could."

[Nekoinu]

"Delmi it is then. Cyan Nexu for me. I feel like just saying one or the other doesn't really work."

She glanced at the arm. "Wow. All a new development then. Do you, uh, know who was responsible? Like a specific Mandalorian?"

[Delmi Koor]

“Nexu isn’t that bad. Makes you sound tough too. Like a Nexu Cat. Maybe I should call you Cat...”

She smirked in a friendly fashion.

She then replied, “I’ll know him when I see him. Armor is pretty distinctive.”

[Nekoinu]

"That's not the point though. Anyone could be Nexu. For me, it's part of the identity." She then smiled. "You're right though. Nexu are known for being tough."

The slicer let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, going incognito isn't something they really do, huh? Guess they're not the sort to be afraid of being hunted." She gave a small smirk. "I'm sure you'll prove him wrong."

[Delmi Koor]

"What goes around comes around." She said with a chuckle and a smirk.

[Nekoinu]

"Are you... going to go for his arm or something?"

[Delmi Koor]

She shook her head, "Nah... that'd be weird. Trophies like that are messed up. I'd prefer just to put a couple of laser blasts between his eyes instead."
