I might be somewhat less than happy with some attitudes to sabotage for the Republic from the player side but so far I feel the GMs have stepped up to keep that in check.

I know I'm not going out of my way to sabotage the Republic. IC Luth is trying to do what she feels she has to do to protect both sets of friends and loved ones, in the Republic and Empire. The player is following how the GM is setting that up. The character is super conflicted and trying to navigate the whole thing while trying to keep herself sane.

Let's not worry about who is or isn't contributing to Victory the story is layered. There are a lot of stories going at once, and so far I hope people enjoy them even if they sometimes don't go their way.

I also wanted to say that I think the GMs are doing a good job with two difficult things:

1) A Republic game should at least somewhat feel like you're playing for the good guys.
2) Being good should feel hard.

These things are not entirely at odds with each other, but they are at least somewhat, and I think the GMs are doing a great job capturing both.
