Oddyn Vizsla wrote:"Come for the creds, stay for the fun?" He snickered, having nodded. "In some sense I am no different, though I can't obviously tell I haven't got shot." He looked toward the ongoing party. "So, what's your idea of fun? Do you dance?"
Lyseil Panteer wrote:"Oho, as much as we can?!" Lyseil grinned, her cheeks glowing red from her good mood and some from the drinks. "Hmm..." now she did nudge him a little as she leaned closer. "Giving him one, and we sharing the other one sound like a good idea, I think, yes-yes?"
There was a hint of bashfulness in those amber eyes as she looked at Niall. "Sharing that one evening sounds nice."

Teffa wrote:"More or less. First time on this side of a military base and first time on a war front. My usual idea of fun usually does involve high stakes but getting shot is just incidental instead of being a part of it. I like to get my hands on a good game of sabacc if possible or just a good time at the casino. However, hangouts like this are a pretty good consolation. I have two left feet but I will most certainly dance if asked!"
Niall Organa wrote:Lyseil's red cheeks finally clued Niall in to just how much Lyseil had been drinking. Niall smiled, amused.
"Yes, I think it's a fine idea. Perhaps I should give him the second one? A bottle of mysterious liquid seems like the sort of thing one man would get for another."
Just as he saw the red cheeks, Niall saw that bashfulness. He smiled reassuringly. "I think it sounds nice, too. So... we'll find a nice evening to do it. I'm looking forward to it already."

"Maybe when we're nearing the end of this campaign? Hmm... we're going up into space soon, right?" she seemed to recall reports on that. To deal with the super-weapon. Though a part of her thought it could've been romantic to have the observation deck all to themselves and just have a backdrop of the stars behind them... but on second thought, a starry sky was more romantic planetside.
"You promise me you'll be careful still, right?"
Oddyn Vizsla wrote:"I am asking." He smirked, having finished the drink and slamming the heavy glass on the bar before he would present his arm to her. The non-cybernetic one. "I am a poor gambler but a hell of a dancer. I think I can lead you just fine but even if not I can weather some treading for the sake of the fun of it."
Niall Organa wrote:The suggestion did cause Niall to redden just a little. Aly was now properly appraised of the situation, but bunking together might be going a bit far.
At the same time... Niall's eyes closed, savoring the pleasant weight of Lyseil's head against his shoulder. He took a deep breath, taking in the the wonderful fresh scent of her hair, memories of home coming with it. He laughed softly with her. "Indeed. Rather like smuggling things in past the headmaster."
His hand loosened its hold on hers as she straightened, but only a little. The corners of his lips curled up, just a little. "I promise not to worry unduly. I've seen that you can take care of yourself. But... we both know how dangerous wars can be. I've lost enough people I care about..." His lips press together. "I think about them often, you know. Every time there's a battle, I wonder if I'll have any new ghosts afterward."
Lyseil Panteer wrote:"Something like that," she murmured, already thinking about the clever ways her and the other girls would hide stuff on their person to smuggle into the dormitories. Not that the teachers ever searched the students.
"I know... I understand what you mean. It's war, but... we do our parts, do the right thing, and try to keep a cool head." Lyseil smiled and reached up with her free hand to pat Niall on the head to emphasize her point. "And there will be less ghosts, right?"

"You got an offer from the Republic?" She asked.
Tethys Carrack wrote:Tethys quirks an eyebrow, surprised--after all, she'd expected the doctor to be far too annoyed at this point to pay attention to what she's wearing--but not all the way to nonplussed.
"That's on you Doctor Ormont, not me. Have a good evening," and she raises her hand for a slow parting wave.
Teffa wrote:Teffa probably wasn't as clumsy as she said she was earlier but dancing was easily not something she did often. She was mindful at least, despite at times there were perhaps sometimes she had to glance down to avoid close calls with her feet. It was doubtful she could graze the Mandalorian and if she managed stomped him with her heels, then something truly must have gone wrong or it was wholly intentional. "Oooh, fancy," she said with a small giggle as they went into the half-spin before returning her hands to where they were supposed to be.
