"Hm." Tethys quirks an eyebrow. "Well, Mr. Draagh, it has been interesting meeting you. Unless you've seen anything else particularly interesting around here today that you'd care to point out to a fellow visitor... I'll be in touch."

“The view from the beach in the evening should be nice, so I am told,” he said in reply.

"I do have a weakness for beaches. Perhaps when the rain lets up." With a faint smile, Tethys raises her hand in an open-palmed gesture of farewell. Then she ducks back out of the ruined doorway and wanders off again into the camp.

It sounded like the two were in a very involved conversation, Jax went to another part of the base to explore it a bit. He saw a woman that lacked the bearing of active military, seemed as good as anyone else to talk to.

"Kind of a shitty day to make landfall huh?" He asked lightly indicating the rather inclimate weather.

Delmi looked across the group before hearing the voice at her side. She stopped herself from walking over to Lelia and turned her head to see the man beside her.

"Yeah. Rough going from the start it seems."

Jax extended a hand "Jax Dolross, what brings you to these parts? You don't seem like military but you also don't look like a local."

[Delmi Koor]

She took the hand in her own and shook it, "Delmi Koor. I guess you could say I'm a mercenary of sorts. Here to resolve some unfinished business and help out a couple of benefactors."

"ah i see probably a similar boat to most of us non-republic here. Got a contact in the area I assume?"

[Delmi Koor]

"I was doing a bit of work here when the metalheads attacked. A lady here in the Resistance got me compensated for my losses and I wanted to help pay her back."

Delmi pointed in the direction of the red woman. "That's her."

[Jax Dolross]

Jax nodded along "ah yeah can't account for every eventuality I suppose." He said "seems like the good sort, she a local business woman I assume?"

[Delmi Koor]

"Yup." Delmi said with a nod. "Popular one with the locals apparently."

[Jax Dolross]

"Mind if I come with?" He asked casually "I could always use more contacts, but I understand if you're looking for a more private meeting."

"Uhh... sure. I was just going to see what I could do to help and say thanks."

[Jax Dolross]

"Seems good let's go talk to her." He said with a smile turning to head toward the red woman.

Delmi watched as a group of people swarmed the woman with reports.

"Well... looks like she's busy right now... Maybe another time."

Jax shrugged "sounds alright to me, I'd hate to overload a busy woman. I'll have to find another time to meet the locals I suppose."

"So what brings you here for this war?" She asked as she leaned up against a supply box at her side.

[Jax Dolross]

"A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Republic contracts pay just like underground ones do." Jax said casually as he leaned up against a pole "you said you got stuck here? What were you doing on Bankor before all this happened."

[Delmi Koor]

"Some of this... some of that..." She said with a smirk.

[Jax Dolross]

Jax returned the smirk "fair enough Ms. Koor, a lady is allowed her secrets I suppose."

[Delmi Koor]

"I am centered out of Nar Shaddaa... That's probably a decent enough hint." She said with a smile.

Jax nodded knowingly "Lovely place, at least in my line of work. Can get a lot of decent jobs in that area."
