http://www.bankor.fallenash.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=772Count V1 very interested in this one.
Very good Athletics and a definite combat character. Been in 1 limited event only so far this game.
I lack the Survival, but only 1 chara gets to roll that each round.

Athletics is 1Y+2G.
Shooting is shooty at Medium with Blast.
Plus Trust Boosts

Listing skills . . . yes that would have been a good idea V1 . . .
Athletics = 1Y 3G and I remove 2 Setback
Survival = 1G . . . . cough
Shooty is 3Y 1G at long range.

My athletics is 3g and the 1 boost from trust. Survival is 2g (so not great)
Gun is medium range 2G 2Y but I get a boost from mods and generate 2 advantage on every hit (have pierce also) so if we have a lot of long range gunners I'm happy to step aside.
I was in one of the events D5 though, so if we have a bunch of people who are good at this and were not in events D5 they should go ahead.

Luth is very interested.
Athletics is 1G 1Y
Survival is 3G
Gun is Extreme Range, 1G 3Y 2B, difficulty reduce by 1 at long and extreme, Sniper Shot, Deadly Accuracy.

Athletics 3y1g. Survival 2g (but uncured Fearsome Wound applies?). Shooting with repeater 2y2g before modifiers. Since morning D6 Odd is two-handed again.
I am obviously good at this, but I was in the event on D5. On the other hand, that was my first time on a Limited event. So stating my eagerness to join, but if others take precedence, it won't be an issue.

I don't think Luth and V1 have been in combat events yet? If so, I'd put them forward for this

Yes I concur any who fit the event and haven't had any events should go first in line

So we have one space left technically.
Anyone else that hasn't been in an event recently (aka D5) wish to join? If so - state your rolls!

Preference to someone who wasn't in a cool 10 duty fight on Day 5 and has good enough Athletics for the chase.

If you're available you should probably take it Sabine - you didn't do any Day 5 events and if it gets delayed too long V1 will have to withdraw.

Yup, I have no time at all available on Sunday, so if we haven't started by then I'll pull out rather than have my entire event participation ghosted.

Okie dokie. If Dapper comes back on and we can run it, and no-one who didn't do a combat event on Day 5 is available, then I'll jump in.
Anyone who has decent Athletics and hasn't done a combat event should feel free to jump in!
(I'd love for someone who hasn't done an event to get it, but I also don't want V1 to miss out)

A technical question, does consensual event etiquette relate more to the sum of limited events behind the belt or the recency of the last participation? I was assuming the former but it looks like it's more the latter?

I think it's fair to let everyone have the chance to have a go at at least one per session due to Duty.
You had one Session 1 (with Rekto) and 1 on Day 5, no?

I dunno, but if you want to do it go for it (Oddyn did miss out on events earlier), and try not to do two 10 duty combat events in a row in Session 3?

I am looking at it from the perspective of Duty-garnering opportunities and hitting contribution levels. I am in the only mostly active group which hasn't hit its first target yet, and Rekto's contribution was removed (rightfully so, but it didn't count thus). I am genuinely asking what's considered fair in this context. Sometimes it's the strength of dicepool that seems to be decisive who gets the go, sometimes other factors. I can bow out if it is bad taste for me to raise hand, but on average my opportunities to get a chunk were nil D2-D4 and D5 was the first I could do something for Duty.

FWIW, quickly doing the math on your Duty squad, I
think once you and Garth get your Duty for D5 and your whole group gets your end-of-session Duty, you’ll all hit Contribution anyway, and everything above 100 will zero out.

Good point about total group Duty opportunities - I hadn't even considered that part of the equation. I was just looking at the three of us who put our hands up and seeing both of you guys did D5 combat threads.
*Thumbs up*
I'll cheer you from the sidelines.
