Just like the previous night, Chase stood outside the barracks building that contained her room. Looking off toward the night sky, not like there was much else to look at. Communicator still resting in her hand that was crossed over her chest in an attempt to bundle up a bit more.

"Kriffen, cold, out, here," Chase said to the empty space around her.

Badera arrived with a heavy coat, “Hey, was about to crash. What’d you need? Kriffin’ cold out.”

"Hey," Chase turned about, head looking over her shoulder and her body following. "Yea, almost too damn cold for anything. Had something I wanted you to see, been thinkin' about it for a while and I was hoping to hear your thoughts on what it is."

Chase moved toward the barracks door, leading the way, "Just inside, if you don't mind."

“Yeah, you going to clue me in the surprise or is this better that I don’t know,” she said following.

"Something better seen, couldn't really figure a good idea of it myself so figured I'd leave it up to you to figure out what to make of it. Unless I'm totally wrong, it seemed like the kinda thing you'd be interested in," Chase kept talking as she lead her in, stepped through the doorway to the barracks and moved over toward her door, swiping her card, "won't have to wait in suspense too long. I've left it in my room."

Badera nodded with a dubious look but followed all the same.

Pushing in through the door she let it swing open for Badera to follow. Stepping into the small space she slipped the neck covering she wore and tossed it atop the foot locker. Other than that and a few other scattered things, commendations, maybe even a medal or two. Aviator glasses hanging off the edge of the bed and a few bags that once contained her few other items that were likely now settled into the locker.

"I've got it just under here," she said as she stepped alongside her bed and further into the small room, "just close the door for me?"

Badera just laughed and said, “Wow, if this was all a trick to get me into your room, you could have just asked.”

"I coulda," Chase admitted, turning about, "but I thought this little show woulda been a lot more fun. It has been so far for me, so, how bout you close that door and I ask your opinion on something."

Badera nodded and said, "It was different, that's for damn sure."

Chase waited until Badera closed the door, brought her hands at the bottom of her shirt and lifted. Standing there shirtless in her army issue everything, gun strapped to her hip she hooked her thumbs into her belt and stood lopsided. Left foot out so she could hold her shoulders at an angle, to take a laidback cool kinda pose, "So, opinion time, what do you think? Seems quite like your kinda thing?"

“Not exactly Republic issue, but I won’t tell Chief if you don’t,” she said shaking her head.

“But I better have a closer inspection, just in case… for contraband.”

Chase shook her head slightly, mostly cause it seemed a bit corny, but she could only grin as Badera approached.
