Camp Location: The Strike Force encampment is located in pastoral farmland, though the fields were currently empty due to the fighting about six kilometers outside the city proper. All Locations in the Emerald Valley listed as Contested are now Controlled!

Speech:

"Citizens of Bankor. The first steps on the road to liberation have been taken. While it may be a hard road to tread, it will not be a long one. With mutual help, the forces of the Republic and the Resistance will push back these unlawful invaders, even if we have to fight them block by block, are by acre, sector by sector." The Senator from Pantora spoke with self-assuredness and a posture of extreme discipline. His face was framed by a smile, eyes alight with the fires of freedom.

"Supplies are already beginning to move between the expeditionary forces and those areas needing the most relief. We are coming, Bankor. Rest assured, you will drink from the waters of liberty and justice soon." A pause. Durasay looked pensive for a moment.

"Though sacrifices have occurred, they will not be in vain. Your comrades and neighbors, son and daughters, anyone who stood to the boot heel of oppression and said 'No, not this day!' will be memorialized and remembered by your grandchildren, and their grandchildren, will remember that this was the moment the battle cry of freedom sounded, and that you were here! The Force is with is."

OOC: Threat used to give the first roll in each We Will Rebuild thread a setback die.

Nixie put on a smile meant for just the cameras and said, "The Republic has been making grand efforts to support the Resistance. Food supplies have never been greater for the refugees displaced from the conflict. One can only hope that they will soon return to their homes," she added to the end as a small form of criticism.

"Republic forces found the Emerald Valley Science Museum as a suitable battleground with the invaders. Fortunately, only a few of the artifacts were damaged in the crossfire. One can only hope that greater care will be taken for the culture of this planet."

She sighed and displayed a picture of Tano Kryze for the public to see. "One of the leaders of this invasion was allowed to flee last night from Republic forces. Reports indicate that she is, in fact, a close relative to Varo himself. Time will tell if her escape will cause trouble for the people of Bankor in the future."

The Message

Around the city are left cryptic graffiti that some find puzzling but most just write it off as nothing important… or young folks celebrating the victory. But to those who understand Mando’a and Mandalorian culture it is something entirely different, it is call for a moot of all those that honor the ways of Mandalor in the Black sands desert in a few weeks time.

OOC: Those that are Mandalorian understand the intent of these messages anyone else wishing to try and decipher need to make a Daunting Outer Rim check with 2 dice upgraded and two setback as this is a very obscure thing. Do let the GMs know you are attempting before you roll.

This will open up a Mandalorian only event on Day 4.
