[Sabine Kelborn]

"It grows on you." Sabine smiled, sincerely. "t can be uplifting, you know." She let out a sigh. "Tough some time though."

[Layne Hoshin]

"I can do nice. Probably. I'm sure it's in there somewhere."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Dig deep young padawan. The quartermaster has a shovel I'm sure." She laughed at her own joke. "Sorry... some old reflexes kick in with you apparently."

[Layne Hoshin]

"That's probably the Sith in me."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Mhm... do you expect you'll ever grow out of it?" She leaned back and changed positions slightly.

[Layne Hoshin]

"ask me in 20 years."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Assuming we'll both still be alive at that point in time. I'll holo you." She smirked.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Some of us will live forever."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Sounds like a trap."

[Layne Hoshin]

She slowly rose up from the seat she'd taken and started stretching.

"Maybe. But the force will provide. Or something."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Sounds nice." Was her response, as she observed Layne stretching. "Food and lodgings included in the provide part?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"The force can guide one to those, if in need."

[Sabine Kelborn]

Sabine seemed thoughtful. "Is that how it works? I mean..." she shrugged. "The Force was never something I put much truck in. Never seemed to matter."

[Layne Hoshin]

"The Force can do many things," she said, nodding. "Things one might think impossible. Some obvious, some subtle. To guide one in need is a simple thing for it to do."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Huh." She said it simply, for now. She glanced at Layne, assessing her once again. "How do you know if you're being guided?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"Those that can feel the force simply know."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"And what about the rest of us?" She asked idly, without challenge.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Everyone's touched by the Force in some way, even those who aren't sensitive to it. Usually in small ways, sometimes in big ways. But destiny isn't really my field of expertise."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Yeah, you seem a bit more hands on." She said with a smile. "You know.... I always heard the Force as something that was referred to all the time, but no one really explained it. I mean, I know Jedi can be badass, but that's the extent of it?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"It is not. The Force can do many things. It can allow you to see the future. Or the past. Or somewhere far, far away. It can allow one to read other's thoughts, or influence them. Move objects without touching them. To heal. To hurt. It can even be used to survive death, in a way. There is little the force can't do."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"The Force can scare the hell out of me." She replied almost instantly, after hearing all of that. "How are Jedi not unstoppable then?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"Just because those things are possible with the Force, doesn't mean a Jedi or Sith can do all of them. Or that they can do them particularly well. To pull off the truly crazy things, one has to have both a very strong connection to the force, and a lot of training. For instance, I can slowly move small objects with my mind, but my former master could pick up a speeder or maybe even a shuttle, and throw it around like it was nothing."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Just because those things are possible with the Force, doesn't mean a Jedi or Sith can do all of them. Or that they can do them particularly well. "So, lifegoal set?" She asked with some humor, before turning more serious. "Still scary, to be honest. But... at least we are not up against Force users, I guess."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Don't count on it. The Sith will absolutely find ways to interfere here."

[Sabine Kelborn]

"Well, that'S..... not entirely surprising, I guess." She stretched her arms. "Any specific guesses?"
