Hanky Panky (Day 6 Late Evening, Three Drinks)

There were a few details that needed to be discussed, ideas hammered out, and a general plan of action to be decided on. So Z had put together a meeting.

Perhaps his ship wasn't the best place, but it was private and fairly secure. Which would work well with the proceedings, especially with all the talk of leaks about. Standing by his bar he made himself a drink, as he waited for the others to arrive.

Specialist Devaroo arrived first. Something about him looked off. There was a scowl on his face and he nodded at Zanebry after getting buzzed in.

The interior really seemed to fit with Zanebry's personality. Or at least with the persona he saw fit to share. Walking into the bar confirmed it.

Hands shoved into his deep pockets he offered: "I'll take something dark and strong. If ya got it."

"I think I can help you out. If you like take a seat, it should be done in a few minutes." Zane replied thoughtfully, from his place at the bar. Pulling out a number of bottles a moment later, and beginning to mix up a drink.

Eventually he made his way over, a rather darkly colored cocktail in hand. "Its a 100 year old cigar. I hope it fits the bill."

Tethys enters the ship not too long after the Specialist, dressed in a much more typical mode (for her, at least) than the previous evening. In contrast to Rav, she seems slightly less on edge than she'd been yesterday.

"Evening, Mr. Varliss. Specialist Devaroo." She favors them both with a faint smile... which is fairly demonstrative, for her.

"A good evening to you as well, Miss Carrack." Z greeted the willowy woman as she entered the common room of the freighter. "I see you're looking better, I'm happy to see your injuries healed nicely."

"Could I get you something to drink as well?" He asked as he drifted back towards the bar.

He'd taken the offered seat, looking a little uncomfortable but seeming to settle a bit. His large frame and bushy tail looked a touch out of place, but at least he had tidied up a bit and wasn't likely to be leaving oil stains behind...

"Thanks Zanebry. That looks kriffin' spectacular." He took a tentative sniff, savouring the complex aroma as Tethys walked in. He nodded politely to the nice Jedi he had first met back on the trip here.

"Ms. Jedi. I hear you been fightin' monsters."

"Only one monster," Tethys corrects Rav a bit ruefully, rubbing the spot over her collarbone where the thing's claws had left the biggest mark--all healed up now, thanks to the miracle of kolto, but not so quickly forgotten. "Which is just as well. If there'd been a second we'd never have gotten the whole team out alive."

She helps herself to a seat on one corner of a couch, probably fitting the furniture better than the Shistavanen in size, if not necessarily in aesthetic style. "If it doesn't offend you to ask for something light, then yes, thank you," she says in answer to Zanebry's question, quirking an eyebrow. "This is a working meeting for me, after all."

"I suppose we should be thanking our good luck then." Two monsters seemed a little much for so early in the weak anyways. "Hopefully the Mandolorians won't have many similar surprises for us in the future."

"It doesn't offend me, it's not like I want to get you tipsy and giggly We'll save that sort of behavior for if we ever go out dancing." an unlikely out come, but you never know. Pausing thoughtfully, he reached under the bar to collect several bottles... "I think I have just the thing." He mused to himself as he began working.

The cocktail would be finished a little later, and he'd bring it over. "Enjoy."

Rav just shrugged and took another sip of the drink. "In my experience there's never just one monster..."

As the others chatted he pulled out his datapad and started scanning through the data that he and Hacha, well mainly Hacha, had pulled the day before. It was all logistics and accounts, but there had to be something they could use. He looked at the words through the clear dark liquid and swirled it around.

"I suppose thats quite true, they just vary by whose skin they're wearing." Seeing how Rav jax pulled out his datapad, Zanebry moved to place a portable holo projector on the table.

With a few presses of buttons, he pulled up a map of the planet and surrounding space, a series of points were drawn over it with connecting lines.

"This is what we were able to put together from the droids logs. Cant say the points are exactly correct either. But it's what we could extrapolate from the data on hand."

"I don't do a great deal of dancing, except with lightsabers." Tethys accepts the drink with a murmur of thanks and rests it on her knee, leaning forward to see the projection more clearly.

"I may be somewhat behind the news. What droid is this? Is it something to do with that recording you sent around?"

"Vaguely,I picked the droid up in the same place I found that recording." He took a sip from his own cup. "I've been using it's log's to map out some of clan Varad's recent movements. Or at least attempt to."

"When Rav told me he had found a list of a lot of Clan Varad's assets, I figured we could put the two things together. Maybe find out a few of the places Eralynn might be using as staging ground."

Tethys nods, still peering at the map. "At the command staff meeting, the consensus leaned toward deploying next at either the northern pole, or the forest region of the continent of Yuvas." Long fingers indicate the two areas on the map. "Anything worth checking out around there? Even if we have to hit Varad in more than one place to catch her, we may as well start with a site we can stage to easily."

"There seems to be a base of some sort in the general vicinity of both areas. " Zan replied indicating two different spaces on the map. "Most of the others seem to be in or around major city centers, or other places on interest, but there are a few abnormalities as well." A few odd blips were pointed out. "There doesn't seem to be anything of interest at these places, but that could just mean our calculations are wrong "

"Or she's hiding something strange there. I would not be surprised if she has secrets she doesn't want the rest of the Mandalorians to learn. Some of her behavior is beyond the pale even for their ethics."

"That doesn't sound entirely out of the question." He mused with a thoughtful look. "Maybe we will have to see about doing a fly over sometime in the future. See if we can spot anything out of the ordinary in the area."
