by Baesal Zyn
Baesal had the plans, the water purifier was loaded in her truck and the volunteers were equiped with the tools they needed for their jobs, event if it was only a shovel. She looked up the coast line to check thing up one last time

''I think we are ready''

Garth leaned back in his seat as he revved the engine. He had to behave with the extra weight of the water purifier, but he was wishing he could have thrown her into overdrive right then and there.

He stroked the dash tenderly, getting a feel for the machine as he waited for Baesal to finish double checking everything.

"Whenever ye' say-so then, Miss Zyn."

Niall showed up, dressed in his field uniform. It was still fairly snappy, and had most of the fish cleaned off of it.

Smiling, he gave Baesal a nod as he picked up a shovel. "Padawan Zyn. It's good to see you again."

He gave a casual wave to the vehicle's driver, too.

The new arrival outranked him, although that wasn't too hard, pretty much anyone in an officer's uniform did, so he flashed the man a salute.

"Cap'n."

Niall returned the salute, a touch more casually; as the senior officer, it was his duty to set the tone. "Ensign." He said, his crisp Alderaanian accent showing through.

In fact... "No need to stand on ceremony for this." He said, his lips quirking into what passed for a smile. "I'm not going to be pulling rank here. Niall Organa. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Sounds good t' me." Garth replies with a broad grin.

"Garth Wayne, pilot, driver and pain in mah CO's ass. Ah'll promise mah best behavior today fer ya though, sir."

Niall chuckled softly. "I appreciate that. Who's your CO? I could tell them how much of a pain in the ass you manage not to be when you put your mind to it."

"Let's n' set an unreasonable expectation f'r future behaviour here sir." Garth jokes as he caresses the wheel.

((OOC damned if I know who my superior is))

"Besides, as much as I'd appreciate a kind word, I've been up and down so much between Ensign and Tenant, ah'm startin' ta feel like a damned yoyo. Ah like where ah'm at fer now."

Ashla is there, a bit exhausted already. Her Jedi robes are over shoulder. An observant eye might notice the blood on the sleeves. She simply listens to her orders in and gives input as needed.

((PM if approach.))

Dirty work shirt, functional clothes and a willingness to get the work done; that was what Draagh brought to the affair. He was a focused if quiet man, he nodded and smiled if eye contact was made but he was content to be a beast of burden, bearing large loads on his broad shoulders.

Jax showed up in some sturdy work pants, boots and a white tank top ready to get sown to business. He was here to operate any machinery that needed it or just to help with manual labor whichever. He gave Draagh a friendly nod "Glad to see ya here. Good honest work is what this is." His tone was light and friendly.

“All work is honest, if done by your own hands,” he replied with a nod.

"Ugh" Came the reply from the girl behind Jax, who really didn't want to be here. Still, Jax told her she had to be nice and help out after the fishing incident earlier, so here she was. Playing nice. Digging holes. Not killing anyone.

She still had her weapons though, because it's a freaking war zone and shovels suck as weapons.

In full battle armor with helmet on, the pale grey cloak hanging from one shoulder proudly displaying the Clan Cadera symbol, Nai was mostly on look-out duty. Though she was ready to help with the heavy lifting, and she had brought a tool-box for those who weren't jedi who magically had the tools they needed.

She occassionally checked the view through the scope of her rifle, before resuming her watch-duty.

"Do we all fit in one truck?" Asked a nearby voice that wandered into the group while looking at the space the water purifying system already used up. "Maybe we could have a car going ahead as a convoy and guard ahead, so that no sabotage is done on the way." She looked from one to another of the people in the place, "hello everyone, it is good to see you this afternoon."

''Hello everyone'' The togruta said smiling ''We should all fit in the truck but having an extra vehicle might not be a bad idea''

Layne showed up, fashionably late, it seemed, and found Baesal.

"I heard you needed a hand," she said, short, gruff, trying to maintain her 'i'm too cool for this' reputation.

Being approached by the toocoolforschool fellow padawan made the togruta smile "Hey there Layne. Glad to see you here!"

She looked around

"We might need another vehicle, could you see if there is one we could use?"

Rav turned up with a full pack stuffed to the brim with assorted pieces of equipment for building works. He nodded to the assembled volunteers.

"Quite the work crew."

Rav chuckled, a raspy sound.

She shrugged, and went to look for another vehicle. She might even manage to scrounge one up, eventually.
