[Day 2 - Late Morning] Fishing with Friend III

Power Cost: 0
Participants: Unlimited
Timeslots: Early Morning, Mid Morning, and Late Morning

Description: The Strike Force has food resources and more than enough to last the campaign, as long as it does not drag out but the people of the city not so much. The Bankor Resistance has put out a call for aid, time to go out and do some fishing and the best time is in the morning hours. Assist the fishermen and build some good will with the people.

Rules: Players may participate in this event a maximum of two time, one time per time slot. They can use a variety of skills to aid the fisherman and each other. The following skills may be used in this event; Athletics, Brawl, Computers, Cool, Coordination, Discipline, Leadership, Mechanics, Melee, Perception, Pilot Planetary, Survival, or Xenology. You cannot use the same skill twice, so if one slot you use Melee, you cannot use Melee in the next slot. The skill check is at Average difficulty and every two Advantage can be used to to give the next person a Boost die; every two threat rolled gives the next participant a setback die.

A successful roll grants a Fishing point while a Triumph grants 3 Fishing points, unless the roll fails then it grants only 1 Fishing point. A Despair removes 2 Fishing points regardless of success or failure.

Rewards/Outcome: The primary reward is building trust with the Bankor Resistance up to a full rank.

Trust Modified: Every 5 Fishing points grants .1 Trust with the Bankor Resistance up to a maximum of 50 Fishing points for 1 full rank of trust.
Power Modified: If 40+ Fishing points are gained, then Power is increased by 4.
Duty Earned: Increase Duty by 5.

Cole had done extensive studies of alien life. Unfortunately, they were all on sentient species, and he struggled to apply that knowledge in any useful way.

Unfortunately engines didn't have a tendency to work forever, and Chase's knowledge of them wasn't perfect. Eventually she got it back working again but not nearly soon enough to get people back fishing again.

Durasay had woken up late. But just in time to catch the fishing teams. Using his innate leadership talents, he was able to coordinate teams of Fishers to healthy, numerous catches, as well as some larger, meaty variety of fishes.

It would be a fine feast.

Jax showed up and did his best to help the people of the town catch some fish. He was alright at it but more due to natural abilities than any skills he had.

Fishing? When was the last time he fished? Still it wouldn't hurt to try. Sadly perhaps, it was still a foreign concept to the former spy, and while he helped out anyone else that might try. His own attempts were unsuccessful

As much as Jax would never admit it, Azura could actually fly really well. For reasons likely proven by the fishermen clinging on for dear life, she was also rather reckless at the wheel. Still, that fish she hit that flew up and landed on the deck counted, so she was helping!

Whoever followed her may not be so happy about it.

Having had his fishing disturbed by a punching Jedi earlier Rav ws not impressed when the pilot scared all of the fish in the damn ocean. Or so it seemed. Spotting a small stream entrance the Shistavanen remembered that his old man had once built a weir out of rocks to catch fish back home. Breaking out his datapad the mechanic quickly got to work and planned out a clever scheme for catching some fishies. To his own surprise it ended up working really well despite the disturbance.

Day 2. LM. Fishies event part 3. Using Mechanics to build a weir. Boost from previous day. Taking the hit: 2 setback from Azura. 1 setback from Trust. Remove two setback with Talents. Destiny to upgrade roll. Average difficulty.: 4eP+1eB+2eD+1eS 2 successes, 4 advantage

Coming off the high of his work with the fishing machine, Nudimsu turns to making a move with doing it the old fashion way, the pole. Some said that this was the way to do it. And, after a few hours of doing it, he realized that whomever said it was completely wrong.

Still, it wasn't a total loss, he did manage to find a large stockpile of fish, informing the head of this project to go focus their attention on that area. Hopefully the next person would have better luck.
