[D3 - EE] Helping Hand

Zhao went to the city with one purpose, to see if any one needed some help with rebuilding their homes and their lives. He didn't have any sort of training in structural or civil engineering but he had muscles, a lot of them. He was not covering his head with his hood, his white skin colour, red tattooes and scars, and his zabrak horns were totally visible
He also brought his credits to see if he could put them into good use. He didn't need them, so perhaps he could buy medicine or other stuff for the locals.
He looked around, seeing if anyone needed help.

Cole and Galen were meeting up with Ashla, they had a similar goal in mind as the zabrack. The surgeon and the rogue healer had teamed up to do this before, plying their skills at the makeshift and adhoc set ups that passed for clinics in the underbelly of Nar Shaddaa. Spotting the distinct white-skinned Jedi, Cole raised a hand to his forehead in a casual salute, a wordless greeting that required no answer, should Zhao not want to stop and talk.

Ashla approaches. She gives a respectful nod to the zarbak, not wanting to interfere if he had more important duties to attend to. She then approached Cole.
"Hey Cole. What's up?"

"Not a lot, not a lot," he admitted, running a hand through his hair. Since the Republic had gained control of the area, the number of medical emergencies had begun to taper off. "With the occupiers pushed back, the injured aren't so pressured to evacuate. I was thinking of spending a few hours patching some people up, seeing as we're moving out soon."
"Have you met Galen?" he indicated to his companion-slash-bodyguard.

"No. I don't think so." She extends a hand. "Ashla Vyliis, Jedi Padawan. A pleasure to meet you."

Surprise flashed across Cole’s face, the expression quickly gone again, but he ran a hand through his curls, rubbing the back of his neck at the end of the motion. Jedi Sol, he had no idea he’d been so disrespectful.

"Ah. I remember meeting her in Nar Shadaa. I hope she is doing well."
She turns to Cole. "I have to say, I'm impressed by your ability to get Jedi to help you run your clinic."

Cole awkwardly cleared his throat, and indicated somewhat helplessly at Ashla herself. Running a hand through his hair again, “Jedi Sol is here to help the Republic, and this seemed like a way for him to contribute.”

"I'm not a Jedi." Galen corrected. "She's been kind to teach me, but has accepted that I'm not wishing to join the order, at this time."

"Ah." Ashla had thought she hadn't seen him before. "Sorry then. Well, we all have our own paths through Force. Are you a healer too?"

"No, I'm a hunter." be explained. "But, Dr. Ormont told me about his intentions to help the local civilians and I agreed to accompany him, to keep him safe."

"Ah. I see." Ashla gives a nod of approval. "It makes sense. Thanks for the help. I'm sure Cole is going to the worst of the worst places to treat people."

"Speaking of," Cole pushed a hand through his curls, "I was told that there's a triage clinic running out of this office." He pointed to the building in front of them, it was an office suite with various businesses, one of which was a general doctor's practice.

Ashla nods and allows Cole to lead the way. She assumed he had talked to whoever was running the triage beforehand.

The space inside was in disarray, the general practice had taken over the surrounding offices. There were no beds, patients were stretched out on blankets on the carpeted floors in cubicles stripped of desks and cabinets. Flagging down a passing volunteer and asked for one of the doctors by name, the zabrack pointing towards the clinic's reception desk.
It took some time to track down the doctor, and Cole conversed with them for a few minutes. Returning to Ashla and Galen, "he says that the most critical patients are nearest this office."

Cole watched the Togruta go to work, a smug sort of curl to his lip, nodding in approval. He gathered himself but, before getting to work, he checked the time and loaded up a hypospray. Slipping a hand inside his jacket, he injected himself, buttoned up again, inhaling sharply and putting the hypospray away.
He turned to the next patient, a gand whose leg had been crushed by falling concrete during the bombing. With delicate movements, he pinned what fragments of shattered bone remained back together, removing the shards that couldn't, before closing the wounds and splinting the limb. It would be a long time before the gand would walk unaided, but the limb had been saved.

There wasn't much Galen could do himself, but he assisted as he could, following their instructions.
