Azura couldn't shake the feeling, the pull towards this location since her tattoo. The strange views of the monks, which seemed so offensive to her previous training, had caught her attention. Now she wanted to try and understand them better.

so she returned to the temple, and looked to find someone to talk to about the Way.

Galen had returned as well. There was no tattoo pulling at him, just the feeling that had awoken him in the morning and a desire to speak with those who might understand it.

As they had discussed Jax accompanied Azura back to the temple. He was curious about their teachings and desired to know more. His ordeal the other day had awoken something in him and he needed guidance with it.

Many of the monks or ascetics... whatever they considered themselves were training hand to hand combat in the courtyard, well an open flat area of the tree they used as the Dark Sky Shrine. The wood was beneath their feet was as hard as stone.

Azura came to a stop, watching the fighting monks with interest. They seemed hard at work, but Azura still wanted to learn a little more. She approached them, not directly interrupting but her arrival wasn't exactly sneaky-sneaky.

Jax stayed next to Azura for the time being watching the monks with interest as well hoping there was one around that could speak with them.

Noticing Jax and Azura, and their apparent wish to speak with the monks, Galen waited. He drew a little closer however, as he watched the training.

The monks stop their work and look at the strangers and one spoke, “So many outlanders, who knew we were so popular.”

Jax stepped forward "Yesterday we endured many trials during one of these I realized things about myself. I wish to learn more of your mediation techniques."

"Well what did you learn, outlander?" one asked.

Jax looked about as if searching the trees would help him find the words he was looking for. "Many years ago I was involved in an accident, one that was my fault. I blamed parts of myself for this mistake and in a sense locked it away. Yesterday I found it again and it scares me but I believe it is part of me this fire, rage, arrogance in my heart I feel I need guidance or it will burn me again."

“You cannot deny who you are, it can be held back but one day it will burst free,” the Aznuri ascetic replied.

Azura frowned, moving forward.

"I want to know more about your Way. You are one with the Force, I can feel it. I felt it when your tattooist tattooed me, and I feel it now. Yet you don't align yourself to light or dark, do you?"

“One with the Force? That is your words not ours. We follow the Way, you follow your Way, light and dark are words, we follow our Way along a path and do what must be done to live and prosper,” one responded.

"And what is the Way? You refer to it like it's just life" Azura looked over the monks "you're not...linked with either the Jedi or the Sith, are you? I'd be amazed if neither had tried."

“There is no singe Way, our Way is our path, we choose to follow something larger than mere Sith or Jedi philosophies,” the man responded.

“We find peace in the Void, the void in the stars and the void in us all.”

Galen listened intently. The conversation was covering much of what he has wanted to discuss.
