"If you look for some Mandalorians to give ear to your Jedi ways and become obedient dogs of the Republic, I bet you can find some. Precisely because we can choose who and why we fight."

"So why do *you* fight then, huh?"

The whole conversation was quite frustrating to Layne. Doubly so because ishe only had anger as a response.

"Right now, to take revenge. What comes after will come after." He replied calmly, though without mirth or boast. He had been composed so far mostly because his ideas had long been digested. His adoptive father had taught him well.

"Revenge huh? Against?"

[Oddyn Vizsla]

"No one you'd miss. It's a personal matter." He replied with a measure of finality to how much he was going to divulge to a restless Jedi girl.

"I'm supposed to frown on that sort of stuff. Tell you that revenge is empty or something."

"I honestly prefer to check that myself. Besides, I don't seek fulfilment in vengeance, but a way to move on. So if there's emptiness afterwards, I am fine with that."
