Rules: Before you can begin the race you must impress your beast, you must do the dance of the vusa!
Dance of the Vusa: This is very coordinated and dramatic dancing where one must whoop like a vusa and impress the creature! This is a Coordination or Athletics check at Average with a setback due to vusa being very picky. If this roll is failed, you will suffer a setback die on all race rolls because your vusa is not impressed with you.
Next you must call your vusa, give a Whoop!
The Big Whoop: This is a Leadership check at Average, if successful the vusa will obey your commands and you can ride. If failed you can try to race by forcing the creature but all roll difficulties are upgraded once.
Now that you have your vusa it is time to race! This will consist of four Survival rolls and picking a course. The Leisure Course, the Rider’s Course, and the Path of Bones. It is bad form to wear armor during the race, so don't be that person.
Leisure Course: The most popular course for tourists and native alike you parade around the parade grounds and have great fun the difficulty is Easy, you have a great time but this is non-competitive. At the end you are rewarded with a bottle of spirits.
